Hailing from Cambridge, Massachusetts, Sekou Carradine is a jack-of-all-trades. From modeling, and acting to fatherhood, Sekou carries passion through all his ventures. As a fashion model for ten years, he’s had numerous campaigns and traveled to thirty-plus countries.
In 2004, Sekou was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, leading him to take a three-year recovery break—during which he discovered his passion for theater. In 2020, he founded The Carradine Group, a creative agency assisting those aiming to rebrand at a minimal cost. Additionally, he began the non-profit, We Have MS, offering support for newly diagnosed MS patients.
Sekou has stayed grounded in Fort Greene for six years. During the pandemic, he remained connected through recreational activities. Amid the chaos, he admired Fort Greene’s affection. “It incubated me,” Sekou said. “This neighborhood took me in without even realizing what they were doing.”
