Project Description

Ken Bogan is the Pastor of Greater Restoration Baptist Church, a storefront church along Kingston Avenue that grew out of a bible study formed in response to the 1991 riots. Bogan is committed to being a multi-racial church seeking racial reconciliation in Crown Heights. The church also supports the community through an after school tutoring and music program and GED classes.

Bogan is a husband, community activist, musician and spiritual father to many proving that you don’t need a big church or building to have a powerful and lasting impact on a community. Many have been inspired and blessed by his faithful labors in Crown Heights.
